I admit it, this is the first time I said that Sony Ericsson phone is sucks.
I got my latest SE phone which is c702 that equiped with A-GPS and 3.2 megapixel camera. The looks is my cup of coffee, but the performance is horrible. If you want to own a SE c702, please consider these:
1. You dont mind that the phone is rebooting 2 or 5 time a day, even while you’re using it.
2. You dont mind with the lagging performance of the phone.
3. If anything screwed up, it automatically locks the program permission setting, thus no internet setting will be available.
4. You already do the Service Update, but that damn program said that your phone is updated with latest software which is NOT!
Well, I have send my c702 to SE service center at Berjaya-Sompo, Jalan Imbi yesterday. Just for the Service update only, they require 3 working days… hecks! And there is no replacement phone for you either.
On 2nd thought, c702 is a superb phone IF the problem i said before is NOT existed.

My C702 is working fine now. Performance is quite faster than before. 
Hi All, just coming back from Kelantan for their new broadband launching. It’s called Aptus Net. You can go to their website at http://www.aptus.net.my.

For those who are using codeigniter, you might having problem while using ‘File Uploading Class’ to upload PDF files. Well, at least for me.
This problem occured only on Mozilla Firefox 3 but not IE. This because Firefox somehow change the mimes type to ‘application/download’ or ‘application/force-download’.
To fix this, simply edit the mimes file
application/config/mimes.php
and replace
‘pdf’ => array(’application/pdf’, ‘application/x-download’, ‘application/download’),
with
‘pdf’ => array(’application/pdf’, ‘\”application/pdf\”‘, ‘application/download’, ‘\”application/force-download\”‘, ‘application/force-download’, ‘\”application/download\”‘, ‘application/x-download’, ‘\”application/x-download\”‘),
you might apply this to any other mimes as well, but i havent tried it.
All of the sudden, all my files in PHIXELCODE.COM is vanished. Worse thing is, i didnt backup anything. I did asked Exabytes, why suddenly my files goes missing, but until today I’m still not satisfied with the answer.
That mean, all my clients files, blogs, images, projects is lost forever. Still wonder why the database and email is not missing. I’m very sure there is no one accept me and my partner who has the password for the hosting.
Well, let bygones be bygones. Maybe you should do your backup now.

Wow… i cant believe that i didnt post anything to this blog for a while(More than 7 months to be exact). I cant help it, at some point i get busy and forgot that i have a blog.
There is lot of things happen in 7 month, My daughter is getting 10 month yesterday. And another thing, i’m doing jobs at Phixelcode System as a freelance mode now.
Why? because now i’m joining Dynamic Labs Sdn Bhd. FYI, maybe some of you out there didnt know, Infolient Broadband is now leading as cheapest ISP around in term of rates. They doing promotion now, for RM59 / month, you can have unlimited 1Mbps broadband connection at your home. And for Enterprise broadband, you can have 1Mbps Dynamic IP for only RM79 / month. Great deal isn’t?
By the way, i’m now converting all my php program/system to Codeigniter Framework. I’m so happy about it, I even buy the Codeigniter book from Amazon, even though it is suffice to read their user guide online. ..
And 1 more thing, I’m addicted to rubik’s cube!!! I can’t take it away, it’s so much fun!
There is also some bad news, some bastard has stole my laptop in my car, they didnt crash the windows, but they tear up the driver door key hole..

Yesterday, I successfully re-coded NyumNyum.com using CodeIgniter Framework (CI). It is true what they say, CI is remarkably easy to used.
With new structure, i’m able to add trackback feature for NyumNyum. Hopefully this little project of mine will be grow a little bit bigger in future.

There is several ways to protect your email address from being fetch by the spam email program. The fastest way is to use javascript.
Method 1: Use function()
Create your own unique funtion. For example.
function mailmask(id, domain){
document.write(id + ‘@’ + domain);
}
To use it, simply add this string between <body> and </body>:
<script>mailmask(’info’,'phixelcode.com’)</script>
Me and my wife go to Maxis centre located at Ampang yesterday. I’ve been looking for some alternative for my internet connection, since we has terminated our Streamyx account and has to pay RM500 for the penalty because the 12 month contract is ended on this july 2008.
Anyway, i decided to register Maxis Wireless Broadband with 3.5meg speed package for RM118 per month. Don’t be fooled by the 3.5meg connection because you will not get that connection ever… :), but, it is enough for me to upload files, update a website and getting things done. This package come with a modem, which is very small. I guess the modem Maxis used is same with Celcom, which is HUAWEI.
I have tested the connection at my home and office. i got average 40kb and 80kb respectively. not sure where the rest of connection goes… . The downside of Maxis Broadband is, they limited the total bandwidth to 3gig per month. As quoted on their T&C:
5.3 Excessive Usage
5.3.1 Each customer’s total usage per month shall NOT exceed 3GB of data volume transmitted (total upload and download usage). This is to ensure that no individual hogs the bandwidth at all times.
5.3.2 If a customer wishes to use more than the volume permitted, a written request should be made to Maxis.
5.3.3 Maxis reserves the right to reject the said application or charge for any additional data volume transmitted from what is already allocated.
Looks like i need to write them a letter.
